American Rapper Cardi B has shown no concern about the recent ban on TikTok in the United States. It was reported earlier that the app was shut down on January 19, 2025, after its Chinese owners failed to sell it as required by a new law from President Joe Biden in April 2024.
Following the TikTok ban, a social media user with the X handle @1lex said that rappers who rely on the platform, like Cardi B, should find other jobs. The user stated, “Find real jobs now.” Cardi B responded by saying that her success wasn’t just thanks to TikTok.
In her reply, Cardi B mentioned that she had been offered $7 million to create her line of vitamins. She made it clear that she has many ways to make money, not just through TikTok.
Cardi B noted that she has always been open about her various business projects, such as her clothing and beauty lines, music, and brand deals. She emphasised that she is not just a social media star but also an entrepreneur. Cardi B believed her success came from her hard work and talent, not from relying on just one platform like TikTok.
