Kogi need a leader who will continue with the legacies built by Governor Yahaya Bello says Mrs. Tinubu through the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Social Investment Princes Atika Ajana who represented the First Lady.

She urged the gathering to intensify efforts at mobilising women in their respective domains and prepare to vote APC in their localities as part of their campaign activities.

She appealed to the supporters to also work with other capable women who have the energy, skills, network, resources, and commitment required to mobilise women for the upcoming elections.

She also expressed confidence that the women and youths possess the ability to bring the party over the finish line in first position at the polls.

“I have immense confidence in the ability of the amazing team assembled here today to secure the women’s vote for APC,” she said.

She also thanked the diverse women groups within the party for their support of Ododo campaign.

Hajia Safiya Ahmed Ododo specifically appreciated the countless women groups who have been up and doing. From market women’s groups, young women’s groups, interreligious groups, groups constituted by current and former female government officials, and other classifications too numerous to mention. “I thank you all for your unflinching support and your unshakeable belief in the prospects of Ododo/Joel campaign”.

In her welcome address the Kogi APC Women Leader Hajia Hauwa Aduku cajoled women and youth that the Ododo/Joel ticket is the best option for them because of the track records of both men show that they are gender-sensitive and committed to uplifting the Nigerian woman. With these two men at the helm of affairs, Kogi women can rest assured that their interests will be protected and their rights, safeguarded.

At the grand rally, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Development, Hajia Fatima Buba Kabir tasked all the APC women support groups to commence house-to-house remobilization of women in the state to vote for Ododo/ Joel.

Secretary to the State Government Dr. Folashade Ayoade Arike, tasked women who constitute majority of voters in Kogi State to mobilize and vote for the APC in the gubernatorial elections on 11th November, to enable them consolidate on the gains recorded in the last seven years.

In attendance were top women government functionaries, Senior Special Assistants to the governor, wives of commissioners, wives of political appointees,women and youth gatherings and multitudes of APC supporters.
