Radda pledges better future for Katsina children

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, on Wednesday reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving children’s welfare, education and inclusion in the state during the 2026 Children’s Day celebration in Katsina.

Radda, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed, said every government policy and investment is designed to secure a better future for children, regardless of their background or social status.

The governor highlighted the establishment of smart secondary schools in Radda, Jikamshi and Dumurkul, equipped with internet facilities, robotics and artificial intelligence laboratories.

He also said the state had introduced programmes to reduce the number of out-of-school children and paid WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and NBAIS examination fees for students.

Radda further urged parents, teachers and community leaders to support efforts aimed at creating a safe and inclusive environment for every child in the state.
