President Bola Tinubu on Thursday invited Guinea’s President, Mamadi Doumbouya, to visit Nigeria during a bilateral meeting at the Africa CEO Forum in Kigali, where both leaders discussed economic cooperation and partnership opportunities in Guinea’s mineral sector.
Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Sunday Dare, said Doumbouya welcomed the invitation and was expected in Abuja soon.
According to Dare, the meeting focused on strengthening Nigeria-Guinea relations, especially in mining, metals and infrastructure development.
“Guinea has a lot of potential in minerals and metals, and the possibilities for partnership with Nigeria are enormous,” he said.
Guinea is one of Africa’s richest mineral-producing countries, with large deposits of bauxite, iron ore, gold and diamonds.
