Tshego Gaelae from South Africa has made history by winning the prestigious Mrs World 2025 title, securing the crown at the 40th edition of the pageant held in Las Vegas, USA.
The South African model was elated by her victory and took to social media to express her gratitude, writing, “To God Be The Glory. Thank you so much for the love and support, I am beyond grateful and elated! My beautiful South Africa, the crown is coming Home.”
The competition saw Sri Lanka’s Ishadi Amanda finish as the first runner-up, while Thailand’s Ploy Panperm claimed the second runner-up spot.
Gaelae’s victory has significant cultural importance, as she becomes the first-ever Black Mrs World. The Mrs World pageant, which began in 1984, celebrates beauty, grace, and talent among married women.
The Mrs South Africa organization, which supported Gaelae throughout her journey, took to social media to commemorate her success, stating, “From Soweto to Vegas and now the World, @mrsworldpageant The Crown is Coming Home! Thank you to everyone who supported our Queen on her incredible Journey.
